von Neumann 代数的正规端映射未必可扩张为更大的 von Neumann 代数的自同构，但它们总有渐近提升。我们较详细地描述了端映射及其渐近提升的结构，并应用这些结果，通过端映射到极小膨胀来完满确定 von Neumann 代数上单位完全正线性映射的渐近提升。
