需要多强的踢击才能掀翻东北大学的翻滚机器人?

摘要

崎岖地形运动一直是最具挑战性的移动性问题之一。2022年,NASA的创新先进概念(NIAC)计划邀请美国学术机构参与NASA的突破、创新与变革(BIG)创意竞赛,提出能够穿越极崎岖地形、月球凹凸陨石坑的新型移动系统。在该竞赛中,东北大学凭借提出一种称为COBRA(Crater Observing Bio-inspired Rolling Articulator,陨石坑观测仿生滚动关节体)的铰接式机器人翻滚者赢得了NASA的最高Artemis奖。本报告简要解释了使COBRA在与其他来自六所其他参赛美国机构的从缆索驱动到多足设计的概念竞争中取得成功的基本原理。
