摘要
P. Levy 的一个古老问题是刻画那些能等距嵌入 的巴拿赫空间。我们给出了一个基于范数二阶导数的新判别准则。作为一个应用，我们证明若 是一个二阶可微的 Orlicz 函数且满足 ，则 维 Orlicz 空间 不能等距嵌入 （其中 ）。这些结果推广并澄清了近期关于 1938 年 Schoenberg 正定函数问题的解。
