推导了已知的三组分反应扩散系统的李对称分类，该系统模拟了最初局部化的农耕人口向狩猎采集者占据的区域扩散的过程。所获得的李对称性被用于将该系统约化为常微分方程组并构造精确解。找到了几类行波前型精确解，确定了它们的性质并讨论了生物学解释。
