我们证明：若 $I$ 是含 $n$ 个未定元的多项式环 $S$ 中具有线性商的单项式理想，且 $\operatorname{depth}(S/I)=n-2$ ，则 $\operatorname{sdepth}(S/I)=n-2$ ，并且若 $I$ 为平方自由理想，则 $\operatorname{hdepth}(S/I)=n-2$ 。此外，我们证明：对于满足某些技术条件的具有线性商的单项式理想 $I$ ，有 $\operatorname{sdepth}(S/I)\geq \operatorname{depth}(S/I)$ 。
