三个系列的稳定扭曲内窥（Sp_{2n} 到 PGL_{2n+1}，GSpin_{2n+1} 到 GL_{2n}\times GL_1，Sp_{2n} 到 SO_{2n+2}）的扭曲基本引理将被归约为 B_n 型 群或 C_n 型 群上的普通（即非扭曲）稳定轨道积分的基本引理类陈述。这份写于 2001 年左右的手稿预言了 Waldspurger (2008) 的类似结果，并可用于将扭曲基本引理归约为 Ngo 的工作。最初的目标是将 Sp_4 到 PGL_5 提升的基本引理归约为从 GSp_4=GSpin_5 到 Gl_4 \times GL_1 提升的扭曲基本引理。
