由Todorcevic从强卢津集得到的可数序数对的最强类型着色，被证明等价于存在大小为的非贫集实数集。另一方面，证明了强卢津集与连贯Souslin树的同时存在，与存在可数序数对的一个可数分划相容，使得没有任何着色在其上是最强的。这厘清了一百年来源自Luzin和Sierpinski的一系列着色断言之间的相互作用。
