允许非平凡不变特征的 PL 同胚群

摘要
我们证明了实直线的 PL 同胚的若干类群 G 允许从 G 到实数加法群的非平凡同态，且该同态被 G 的每个自同构固定。具有所述性质的群类包括由 K. S. Brown、M. Stein、S. Cleary 和 Bieri-Strebel 所研究的 Thompson 群 F 的推广，也包括 Bieri-Neumann-Strebel 在 [BNS87, Theorem 8.1] 中研究的群类。由此可知，这些类中的群的每个自同构都有无穷多个相关的扭曲共轭类。
