本文推导了高速公路交通中车辆速度和距离的稳态分布，该分布已被建议用于评估车辆间的相互作用势（见预印本cond-mat/0301484）。尽管车辆交通中存在前向相互作用和额外的驱动项，但如果系统足够大，稳态速度和距离分布与具有对称相互作用的经典多粒子系统的平衡分布一致。最后，这一解析结果通过计算机模拟得到证实。
