我们证明了 F4 或 E6 型球面建筑的一个凸子复形要么是一个子建筑，要么该子复形的自同构在其上固定一个点。我们的方法是微分几何的，并基于曲率有上界的度量空间理论。我们还使用这些技术对经典类型的球面建筑的相同结果给出了另一个证明。
