我们找到了一些条件，确保局部推进不变性（LBI，即在线性推进各向同性下的不变性）蕴含局部推进对称性（LBS），即存在一个局部运动群，使得邻域中每一点 都有一个保持 不动的推进。我们证明，对于 Petrov D 型时空，这要求黎曼张量及其一阶导数的 LBI。对于大多数共形平坦时空也是如此，但那些里奇张量具有 Segre 型 [1(11,1)] 的时空可能需要曲率前三阶导数的 LBI 才能确保 LBS。
