宽HgTe量子阱中二维拓扑绝缘体态的持续存在

摘要
我们对宽(14 nm)HgTe量子阱中电子输运的实验研究,证实了先前在较窄量子阱中报道并经理论论证的二维拓扑绝缘体态的持续存在。局域与非局域电阻测量的比较表明,在尺寸约1 mm的样品中、温度低于1 K时存在边缘态输运。电阻的温度依赖性暗示绝缘能隙约为几meV。在尺寸小于10 m的样品中,观察到经由边缘态的准弹道输运。
