超越平面国的运动、繁殖与死亡:维度$d>2$下的马尔萨斯群

摘要

我们证明,“马尔萨斯群”——即在其运动过程中不断“出生”和“死亡”的、相干运动的自推进实体(如生物)的集合——在空间维度d>2d>2下属于一个新的普适类。我们在ϵ=4d\epsilon=4-d展开中计算了这个新普适类的普适指数和标度律至O(ϵ)O(\epsilon),并发现它们不同于先前推测适用于“不朽”群(即没有出生和死亡的群)并在d>2d>2下被证明适用于不可压缩群的“经典”指数。我们的展开在d=3d=3下应当相当精确,从而允许我们的理论、模拟与实验之间进行精确的定量比较。
