某些极化环面曲面上的曲线退化

摘要
我们探讨以下问题：给定极化环面曲面(S,L)以及线性系统|L|中几何亏格为g的一般整曲线C，在|L|中是否存在C到更小几何亏格一般整曲线的退化？对于与h-横截多边形相关的曲面，只要基域特征足够大，我们给出该问题的肯定回答。我们给出小特征下曲面的例子，其中该问题答案为否定。在答案为肯定时，我们推得上述一般曲线C为 nodal 曲线。在特征0下，我们利用该结果证明具有h-横截多边形的一大类极化环面曲面的Severi簇的不可约性。
