摘要
簇代数产生一类具有大量对称性的 Gorenstein 环。聚焦于秩 2 情形，我们展示簇变量如何被用于构造许多有趣射影代数簇。我们的主要应用是进而构造余维数 4 和 5 的上百个 Fano 3-折族。特别地，对于余维数 4 的 Fano 3-折，我们为分级环数据库所包含的 206 个可能 Hilbert 多项式中的 187 个至少构造了一个族。
