1962年，Dyson使用基于物理的宏观论证，推导了对称参数β的随机矩阵系综体态中间隙概率的大间距渐近展开的前两项。在随后的岁月里，随机矩阵理论中间距分布的渐近展开问题显示出丰富的数学内涵。除了介绍主要已知公式外，我们还阐述了用于证明这些公式的数学方法，并提供了一些新公式。我们还对其中一个间距概率进行了高精度数值计算，以说明相应渐近式的准确性。
