In this paper, we show that there are only finitely many Narayana's numbers which can be written as product of three repdigits in base $g$ with $g \geq 2$. Moreover, for $2 \leq g \leq 10$, we determine all these numbers.
In this paper, we find all repdigits which can be expressed as the product of a Narayana, and a product of two repdigits is Narayana.
Narayana's sequence is a ternary recurrent sequence defined by the recurrence relation $\mathcal{N}_n=\mathcal{N}_{n-1}+\mathcal{N}_{n-3}$ with initial terms $\mathcal{N}_0=0$ and $\mathcal{N}_1=\mathcal{N}_2=\mathcal{N}_3=1$. Let…
Let $ (N_n)_{n\ge 0}$ be the Narayana's cow sequence defined by a third-order recurrence relation $ N_0=0,\ N_1= N_2=1 $, and $ N_{n+3}=N_{n+2}+N_n $ for all $ n\ge 0 $. In this paper, we determine all Narayana numbers that are…
Recall that repdigit in base $g$ is a positive integer that has only one digit in its base $g$ expansion, i.e. a number of the form $a(g^m-1)/(g-1)$, for some positive integers $m\geq 1$, $g\geq 2$ and $1\leq a\leq g-1$. In the present…
Narayana's cows sequence satisfies the third-order linear recurrence relation $N_n=N_{n-1}+N_{n-3}$ for $n \geq 3$ with initial conditions $N_0=0$ and $N_1=N_2=1$. In this paper, we study $b$-repdigits which are sums of two Narayana…
We investigate cases where Thabit and Williams numbers in base $b$ can be expressed as the sum or difference of two $g$-repdigits. For specific values of $b$ and $g$, we describe parametric solutions yielding infinitely many solutions for…
Let $\{N_m\}_{m\ge0}$ be the Narayana's cows sequence given by $N_0=0$, $N_1=1=N_2=1$ and \[ N_{m+3}=N_{m+2}+N_m,\quad \text{ for }\; m\geq 0 \] and let $\{F_n\}_{n\ge0}$ be the Fibonacci sequence. In this paper we solve explicitely the…
Narayana's cows problem is a problem similar to the Fibonacci's rabbit problem. We define the numbers which are the solutions of this problem as Narayana's cows numbers. Narayana's cows sequence satisfies the third order recurrence relation…
We first establish the result that the Narayana polynomials can be represented as the integrals of the Legendre polynomials. Then we represent the Catalan numbers in terms of the Narayana polynomials by three different identities. We give…
We define the Narayana sequence $\{a_n\}_{n\geq 0}$ as the one satisfying the linear recurrence relation $a_n = a_{n-1}+a_{n-3}$ for $n\geq 3$, with initial values $a_0 = 0$ and $a_1 = a_2=1$. In this paper, we fully characterize the…
Repdigits are natural numbers formed by the repetition of a single digit. In this paper, we explore the presence of repdigits in the product of consecutive balancing or Lucas-balancing numbers.
In this paper, we investigate sums of three Fibonacci numbers that can be expressed as concatenations of three repdigits in base $b$, where $b\ge 2$ is an integer. We prove that for bases $2\le b\le 10$, only finitely many such sums exist,…
In this work initial numbers and repunit numbers have been studied. All numbers have been considered in a decimal notation. The problem of simplicity of initial numbers has been studied. Interesting properties of numbers repunit are proved:…
A repdigit is a positive integer that has only one distinct digit in its decimal expansion, i.e., a number has the form $d(10^m-1)/9$ for some $m\geq 1$ and $1 \leq d \leq 9$. Let $\left(T_n\right)_{n\ge0}$ be the sequence of Tribonacci.…
Let $(N_{n})_{n\ge 0}$ be Narayana's cows sequence given by a recurrence relation $ N_{n+3}=N_{n+2}+N_n $ for all $ n\ge 0 $, with initial conditions $ N_0=0 $, and $ N_1= N_2=1 $. In this paper, we find all members in Narayana's cow…
In this note, by counting some colored plane trees we obtain several binomial identities. These identities can be viewed as specific evaluations of certain generalizations of the Narayana polynomials. As consequences, it provides…
In the present paper we find a new interpretation of Narayana polynomials N_n(x) which are the generating polynomials for the Narayana numbers N_{n,k} counting Dyck paths of length n and with exactly k peaks. Strangely enough Narayana…
Repdigits are natural numbers formed by the repetition of a single digit. In this paper, we study the problem of writing repdigits as the difference of two balancing or Lucas-balancing numbers. The method of proof involves the application…
Let $b$ be a numeration base. A $b$-additive Ramanujan-Hardy number $N$ is an integer for which there exists at least an integer $M$, called additive multiplier, such that the product of $M$ and the sum of base $b$ digits of $N$, added to…
