Calkin代数的范数唯一性问题

摘要
我们考察了Banach空间的Calkin代数是否必须具有唯一的完备代数范数这一问题。我们呈现了已知结果的综述，并指出Argyros和Motakis近期的一个Banach空间构造(preprint, 2015)给出了首个否定答案。对于弱Calkin代数的平行问题同样有否定答案；我们使用Read的一个Banach空间(J. London Math. Soc. 1989)证明了这一点。
