摘要
本文追溯了双片正态分布的历史，从其起源于 Gustav Theodor Fechner 的遗著《集体质量论》(Kollektivmasslehre, 1897) 到其后的重新发现与推广。文章指出，Karl Pearson 对 Fechner 原创性的否认，以及一个世纪后 Oscar Sheynin 的重申，均缺乏依据。
