圆周上的周期b-方程与欧拉方程

摘要
本文指出，周期b-方程仅当b=2时，即对于Camassa-Holm方程，才能在圆周上所有光滑保定向微分同胚构成的李群Diff(S^1)上实现为欧拉方程。此时，生成Diff(S^1)上度量的惯性算子为A=1-d^2/dx^2。相反，对于b=3的Degasperis-Procesi方程，它对于任何惯性算子都不是Diff(S^1)上的欧拉方程。我们的结果推广了B. Kolev近期的一项成果。
