摘要
在本文中，G. Birkhoff 引入的对称正交与非扩张最近点投影的已知结果从线性情形推广到度量情形。如果该空间在 Busemann 意义下具有非正曲率，则表明这些概念实际上是等价的。最后表明，每个在 Busemann 意义下具有非正曲率的空间，只要其切锥是唯一测地的且它们到凸集的最近点投影是非扩张的，就是一个 空间。
