摘要

在正則范畴 $\mathbb E$ 中，沿正则满态射 $f$ 的预序的直接像一般不是预序。在 $Set$ 中，其最佳预序逼近即为 $f$ 上方的余笛卡尔像。在正則范畴中，预序 $S$ 在 $f$ 上方存在这样的余笛卡尔像，实际上等价于在预序中存在上确界 $R[f]\vee S$ 。我们在此研究确保这些余笛卡尔像或等价地这些上确界存在的一些条件。它们适用于两个极为不同的背景：任意具有子对象链上确界的上拓扑 $\mathbb E$ ，或任意 $n$ -可置换正則范畴。
