受 Brugnano 与 Casulli SIAM J. Sci. Comput. 30: 463--472, 2008 所构建框架的启发，我们分析了用于求解绝对值方程 (AVE) 的广义牛顿法 (GNM) 的有限终止性质。更确切地说，对于某些特殊矩阵，GNM 至多经过 次迭代即终止。获得了关于 AVE 唯一可解性与不可解性的一个新结果。数值实验给出了以证实理论分析。
