摘要

波洛米奥环、二十面体与所谓庞加莱同调球面之间存在一种关联。本文以漫游式的路径探究这一关系，并引入拓扑学中的基本思想以及一种由八面体构成的二十面体复合体的几何构造。这一探究给出了如下证明：二十面体的保向对称群是五个符号的交错群，波洛米奥环是链环，并提供了与庞加莱猜想相关的背景。本文是对已知结果的阐述，面向本科生读者。
