摘要
在本文的中心定理中，我们证明如下结论：若 是完备正则局部环，且 是 在 的分式域的代数闭包中的整闭包，则 。该定理的证明不涉及几乎数学，且对所有特征均成立。作为推论，我们导出 a) Noether环整扩张的平坦性下降，以及 b) M. Hochster 提出的直接求和项猜想的有效性。
