摘要
对每个足够好的单纯复形构造了一个典范分支覆盖。其结构依赖于该复形的组合类型。由此，每个闭可定向 3-流形都作为 S^3 的某个三角剖分在 3-球面上的分支覆盖而出现。这一结果联系于 Hilden 和 Montesinos 的一个定理。所引入的分支覆盖具有丰富的理论，其中射影群起着中心作用。
