对称群代数之塔的 Grothendieck 群具有自对偶分次 Hopf 代数结构。受此启发，我们通过公理引入代数塔的一般概念，并研究该塔上由两个自然配对相联的两个 Grothendieck 群。利用表示论，我们证明我们的公理在每一个 Grothendieck 群上给出一个分次 Hopf 代数结构，且这些结构彼此对偶。我们给出若干例子以说明这些公理为何必要。我们还给出有助于验证公理的辅助结果。最后我们对广义代数塔给出一些注记，其在 Grothendieck 群上导出广义双代数（于 Loday 意义下）的结构。
