组合 Hopf 代数赋予无穷组合对象族以线性代数结构，而通过代数族的表示理论对这些结构进行范畴化进一步丰富了该技术。本文考察群论中的基本构造——直积，以及它如何用于由群塔构建表示论 Hopf 代数。一个关键特例给出非交换对称函数 NSym，但对一般 Hopf 代数我们亦可论述诸多内容，包括其特征标群的结构与对极元的公式。
