摘要
John Franks在二维动力学中的一个著名定理断言，球面上的每一个保面积同胚要么有两个周期点，要么有无穷多个周期点。本文在映射是光滑的附加假设下重新证明了Franks定理。我们的证明仅使用辛拓扑的工具，因此与所有先前的证明有显著不同。Ginzburg和Kerman关于哈密顿微分同胚共振关系的结果在其中起到了关键作用。
