摘要
Ando、Matsuzawa、Thom 与 Törnquist 通过构造一个具有强算子拓扑的西算子 Polish 群实例解决了 Sorin Popa 的一个问题，该群左右一致结构重合，但不嵌入到有限 von Neumann 代数的酉群中。问题遗留在于这样的群是否可连通。此处我们观察到，通过上述作者的例子经 Hartman–Mycielski 构造可获得一个连通（事实上同胚于 Hilbert 空间）的实例。
