摘要

我们分析了欧氏空间子流形的距离函数的高阶导数的几何性质。特别地，我们展示了其与第二基本形式及其协变导数的一些具有独立意义的联系。作为一个应用，我们证明了 Ennio De Giorgi 关于欧氏空间子流形在依赖于距离函数导数的泛函的梯度作用下的演化猜想。
