我们研究由折纸图案的顶点和折痕构成的图，这些图案可沿其所有折痕平折。如我们所展示的，一棵树当且仅当其所有内部顶点的度数均为大于2的偶数时才可能平折。然而，我们证明（对于无界纸张，以无穷远点表示所有折痕射线的公共端点）折叠图案的图必须是2-顶点连通且4-边连通的。
