设 R 为结合环。本文研究环的 n-广义交换子，并证明若 R 为非交换素环且 n > 2，则 R 的每个非零 n-广义 Lie 理想都包含一个非零理想。因此，若 R 为非交换单环，则 R = [R, . . . ,R]n。这推广了 Herstein (Portugal. Math., 1954) 的一个经典结果。文中还讨论了 n-广义交换子的一些推广及相关问题，及其与非交换多项式的联系。
