我们考虑了一个具有立方非线性项的二维方形晶格上的标量Fermi-Pasta-Ulam-Tsingou（FPUT）系统。对于此类系统，可以推导出非线性薛定谔（NLS）方程来描述一个在时间和空间上缓慢调制的小振幅振荡移动波包的演化。我们证明，这种NLS近似对于原始标量FPUT系统的应变和位移变量的动力学做出了正确的预测。
