本文推广了 van der Hofstad 和 Slade 提出的 lace expansion 归纳法，以证明临界维度不为 4 的模型的高斯渐近行为。Holmes 应用这些结果研究了维度 $d>8$ 中充分展开的晶格树，该方法也可能适用于维度 $d>6$ 中的渗流问题。
