摘要
我们使用自由概率技巧来计算有限 von Neumann 代数中某些非 Hermitian 算子的谱与 Brown 测度。例子包括 u_n+u_∞，其中 u_n 与 u_∞ 分别为自由积群 Z_n*Z 中 Z_n 与 Z 的生成元，或椭圆元，形如 S_a+iS_b，其中 S_a 与 S_b 是方差为 a 与 b 的自由半圆元。我们给出了一些图像证据，说明其与随机矩阵谱的关联。
