在希尔伯特空间理论的框架内，我们推导了一个适用于来自给定谐波电流源的经典自发辐射的最大功率变分原理。结果首先在近轴极限下导出，然后适当地推广到非近轴情况。这些技术是在相对论电子束的波荡器辐射背景下发展起来的，但具有更广泛的适用性。
