摘要
推土机距离（EMD），也称为第一 Wasserstein 距离，可以自然推广到比较集合 上任意多个概率分布，而不仅是两个。我们给出了这一推广的细节，以及一种受组合学启发的高效算法；结果表明，在三个分布的特殊情况下，EMD 等于两两 EMD 之和的一半。推广 Bourn 和 Willenbring 的方法（arXiv:1903.03673），我们利用与 Segre 嵌入的 Hilbert 级数一致的生成函数，计算了随机 元组分布上该广义 EMD 的期望值。然后我们使用 EMD 分析了一个真实世界的成绩分布数据集。
