摘要
在作者先前的工作中，出现了一种通过曲面图来指定任何光滑闭4-流形的新方法，该曲面图由一个可定向曲面及其上装饰的简单闭曲线组成。这些曲线按循环顺序编号，每条曲线与下一条曲线有唯一的横截相交。每个曲面图都来自从4-流形到二维球面的某类映射。本文旨在给出一个唯一性定理，该定理指出：来自固定同伦类中映射的曲面图，在四种操作（稳定化、手柄滑动、多重滑动和平移）下是唯一的。
