ChatGPT是一种基于AI的聊天机器人，通过分析大量数据发布以提供连贯且有用的回复。在本文中，顶尖科学家、研究人员和工程师探讨了ChatGPT对现代教育的变革性影响。本研究旨在增进我们对ChatGPT能力及其在教育领域应用的认识，识别潜在的关切与挑战。我们的初步评估得出结论：ChatGPT在金融、编程和数学等各学科领域表现不一。虽然ChatGPT能够通过创建教学内容、提供建议以及作为在线教育者回答学生问题并促进小组合作来协助教育者，但其使用存在明显缺陷，例如可能产生不准确或虚假数据，并在原创性至关重要的场合规避重复内容（剽窃）检测。生成式AI中常被提及的幻觉现象（ChatGPT亦不例外）使其在准确性至关重要的场景下的益处有限。ChatGPT缺乏一种随机度量，以帮助与用户进行真诚且敏感的交流。若ChatGPT被用作教育工具，教育机构的学术规范和评估实践亟需更新。为应对ChatGPT对学习环境的变革性影响，让师生共同了解其能力与局限将至关重要。
