摘要
在欧氏空间中，高斯核是应用中使用最广泛的核之一。它也被用于非欧氏空间，已知其中可能存在（且常常存在）使其非正定的尺度参数。仍存希望该核对许多参数选择是正定的。然而，我们证明高斯核对任意参数选择在圆上都非正定。这意味着，在可等距嵌入圆的度量空间（如球面、射影空间与 Grassmann 流形）上，高斯核对任意参数均非正定。
