4-流形的小三角剖分：引入4-流形普查

摘要
我们提出了一种框架来对大规模三角剖分4-流形的PL型进行分类，并将其用于分类所有具有至多六个五胞体的三角剖分4-流形的PL型。除同胚于4-球面 和有理同调球面 的三角剖分外，分类均成功，分别找到至多四种、三种和两种PL型。我们猜想它们都是标准的。此外，我们研究了难以分类的情形，并讨论了这些三角剖分的组合结构——我们认为这些结构本身具有研究价值。
