用间断Galerkin方法模拟磁化中子星

摘要

间断Galerkin方法广受欢迎,因为在解光滑处可达到高阶精度,在仅需最近邻通信的情况下能捕捉激波,且相对易于在复杂网格上表述。我们对文献中应用于广义相对论磁流体力学方程的各种限制策略进行了详细比较。我们比较了标准minmod/ΛΠN\Lambda\Pi^N限制器、Krivodonova的层次限制器、简单WENO限制器、HWENO限制器,以及一种间断Galerkin-有限差分混合方法。最终目标是理解何种限制策略能够在不对参数进行精细调节的情况下鲁棒地模拟磁化TOV星。在本文探讨的限制器中,我们唯一推荐的限制策略是间断Galerkin-有限差分混合方法。
