随着在线内容日益视觉化，以视觉查询进行搜索的需求也相应增强。Shop The Look 是 Pinterest 的一项在线购物发现服务，利用视觉搜索使用户能够在图像中查找并购买商品。本文中，我们全面介绍了如何构建面向购物的视觉搜索系统 Shop The Look，以及从满足购物需求中汲取的经验。我们讨论了包括目标检测与视觉嵌入的核心技术、用于实时推断的服务基础设施，以及用于训练/评估数据收集与人工评估的数据标注方法等主题。我们系统设计选择对用户端的影响通过离线评估、人工相关性判断和在线 A/B 实验进行度量。综合改进在端到端人工相关性判断上累计相对提升超过 160%，在用户参与度上超过 80%。Shop The Look 已在 Pinterest 生产环境部署。
