我们提出了首个全基因组范围的隐性选择统计检验。该检验利用种群间明确的非平衡人口统计差异来推断选择模式。通过分析对种群瓶颈及随后重新扩张的瞬态响应，我们在定性上区分了受加性选择和隐性选择的等位基因。我们分析了每个单倍体个体的平均有害突变数的响应，并描述了该量的时间依赖性。我们引入了一个统计量 来比较不同种群中的突变数量，并详细说明了其对选择强度和种群瓶颈强度的函数依赖关系。该检验可用于检测全基因组范围、区域范围内或足够大的医学或功能相关等位基因集合中的主要选择模式。
