我们证明 Leech 格是 R^24 中唯一最稠密的格。该证明将人类推理与对某些显式多项式性质的计算机验证相结合。我们进一步证明，R^24 中的任何球堆积的密度都无法超过 Leech 格的密度超过 1+1.65*10^(-30) 的因子，并且我们给出了 E_8 是 R^8 中唯一最稠密格的新证明。
