我们研究包裹于M/F-理论椭圆Calabi-Yau四重紧致化中竖直除子的欧氏M5-膜,这些紧致化允许一个Sen极限。我们将这些Calabi-Yau四重构造为环面超曲面Calabi-Yau三重坐标翻转O3/O7 orientifold上的椭圆纤维。我们设计了一种方法,仅利用IIB型在O3/O7 Calabi-Yau orientifold上紧致化的可用数据,来分析这些四重中竖直除子的Hodge结构(进而其中间雅可比的维数)。我们的方法利用了(我们所证明的)Calabi-Yau orientifold及其素环面除子的等变Hodge数的简单组合公式,以及相应椭圆Calabi-Yau四重中竖直除子欧拉示性数的公式。我们的欧拉示性数公式包含一个推测的修正项,用以解释对应于微扰O3-平面的点状终端奇点的贡献。我们在若干显式例子中检验了该猜想,并与直接计算的结果完全吻合。
