这是首篇通过严格方法数值求解拟线性偏微分方程病态Cauchy问题的出版物。更确切地说，我们求解一维拟线性抛物方程的侧面Cauchy问题。关键思想是将一个包含Carleman权函数的严格凸代价泛函最小化。先前关于病态Cauchy问题数值解的出版物仅考虑线性方程。
