李群与微分几何理论中的数论技巧

摘要
本文旨在综述我们近期关于长度可公度和等谱局部对称空间的研究成果。几何问题引出了半单李群中两个Zariski稠密子群的“弱可公度性”概念。我们已证明，对于算术子群，弱可公度性具有令人惊讶的强推论。我们的证明利用了p进技巧以及代数数论和超越数论的结果。
