摘要

在 Thompson 群 F 的推广 F(p) 的词度量中，从原点出发的距离与表示 F(p) 中元素的约化根树图里的 caret 数目是拟等距的。这一度量的解释被用来证明每个 F(p) 都容许到一个拟等距嵌入到每个 F(q) 中，并用以研究在这些嵌入下移位映射的行为。
